The City of Akron has a massive multi-year renovation project ongoing on the downtown infrastructure.  The State Street Bridge was completely rebuilt, and a design-build project was won by LEE Akron to provide decorative LED lighting on the bridge exterior and underneath as well as sidewalk lighting. The decorative lighting facing away and under the bridge can change colors and will be utilized to mark the seasons and for special occasions. It will be visible from the entire downtown area.
